Las Vegas is a city known for its glitz and glamor, but it’s also home to a wide variety of activities that will appeal to just about anyone. Whether you’re looking for thrills or relaxation, Sin City has something for everyone! The following are some of our favorite things to do in Vegas right now:
1. Get Thrill Rides at the Adventuredome Theme Park
The Adventuredome Theme Park is great for families to have fun together. The park is in the heart of Vegas, making it easy to get there by foot or taxi.
It is a 5-acre indoor amusement park at Circus Circus in Winchester, Nevada, on the Las Vegas Strip. They have 25 rides, including El Loco, Canyon Blaster, and many more. The regular voucher costs $60; the junior voucher costs $30 for those under 48” tall.
No matter how old you are, Adventuredome has something for everyone: roller coasters, carousels, and kiddie rides.
It’s easy to get there, too: hop on the Deuce bus from any stop on the Strip or walk from your hotel room to Adventuredome’s entrance.

3. Explore Fremont Street Experience
In short: Fremont Street is a must-see place for all travelers who want to discover the beating heart of downtown Las Vegas.
Some of Fremont’s most famous buildings are casinos that have been around for decades, including Golden Gate Hotel and Casino and Binion’s Horseshoe Casino.
But if you ask us, what makes the Fremont Street Experience so special isn’t just its history—it’s also its present. That’s because every hour from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am (except during special events), there is a 6-minute light show accompanied by music performed live at one of the three entertainment stages below Viva Vision—a screen that covers 1,476 feet of Fremont Street and is covered by more than 12 million LED bulbs. You can listen to music being performed live free of charge!
4. Enjoy Awe-Inspiring Art at Springs Preserve
The Springs Preserve is a fun place to visit, whether you’re a local or just visiting. Located at 333 S. Valley View Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89107.
Stroll through the desert landscape and enjoy awe-inspiring art, a state-of-the-art cultural and educational facility in downtown Las Vegas. Featuring museums, galleries, and outdoor events, as well as colorful botanical gardens, an interpretive trail system that meanders through a scenic wetland habitat, and other lively attractions for all ages and interests, The Preserve offers something for everyone. It is known as the birthplace of Las Vegas and represents one of the richest and most unique cultural and biological resources in Southern Nevada.

5. Get that Adrenaline Rush at Slotzilla Zipline
The SlotZilla zipline attraction at Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas is not for the faint of heart. The ride will take you 850 feet above the street below and is more thrilling than any roller coaster you’ll ever ride!
The experience begins with a short walk up an enclosed escalator to one of two starting platforms, where you can watch others zip below you before taking off yourself. The line starts on one side or another depending on the time of day and how busy they are running your group down. Once they call your number, there’s a small platform where they give instructions about what to do before stepping off into free fall.
The ride lasts only three minutes, but those three minutes feel like ten when your body is dangling from thin cables hundreds of feet above the ground while all that stands between you and certain death is someone else who’s as scared as you are! The thrill might be too much for some people—we recommend trying out the lower level first (there’s no line) before moving onto this high-flying adventure!

You can see Vegas from your 30-minute ride with 28 cabins, including the Bellagio fountains, Caesars Palace, and even the Stratosphere Casino Hotel (a thrill seeker’s paradise).
The High Roller is also a unique experience because you’ll get to do it at night when all of Las Vegas comes alive with lights and sounds. The views are phenomenal, but be sure to go on a clear day so that you can take in everything this city has to offer!

7. Go Hiking and Biking at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
One of the best things to do in Las Vegas? Get off the Strip and into the wild!
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is just 22 minutes away from Las Vegas Strip and 19 minutes from Downtown Las Vegas. You don’t have to go far to get away from it all.
This natural wonderland has everything you need for a day trip: hiking trails, biking paths, scenic overlooks, and an animal preserve. Plus, there’s no better way to get your blood pumping than by climbing up Ice Box Canyon or exploring Lost Creek—and then cooling down in the visitor center with ice-cold lemonade.
Plus, there’s so much more to do! Read up on ancient news at Calico Hills; climb up a mountain (if you dare); stop by the visitor center for a nature walk; discover Summerlin! There are endless possibilities for fun in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
